This unit is designed to be mounted on a wall, a pole or anywhere else outside that is within range. A built-in microphone detects the sound of dogs barking and when triggered, an ultrasonic tone will be sounded. When the barking stops, the tone stops. Inaudible to humans, the tone is unpleasant to dogs yet harmless to them. As the dogs come to associate the unpleasant sound with their barking, it will discourage them from doing so. The unit has a maximum range of up to 15 meters, and you can select from 3 different range levels.

Designed for use outside, this unit is waterproof and able to resist the elements. It is suitable only for dogs that weigh 3.6 kg or more. A single 9-volt battery is required, and a battery level indicator will let you know when a fresh battery is needed.
